FOTD - Seductive Brownie ft EyeRockz

Hi lovelies,

I was 3 full size jar of mineral eyeshadows by lovely Vaun fron EyeRockz. EyeRocks is a Singapore based company that sells natural, handmade mineral eyeshadows and they are preservative free. [You can read more about EyeRockz HERE] All products are handmade only upon receiving orders - in order to ensure that their customers receive nothing but the freshest product. [To read more benefits on mineral eyeshadows, click HERE]

Eye Rockz currently has more than 60 shades of shimmer and glitter mineral eyeshadow. Needless to say, I had a hard time choosing three colours. I love my neutrals, yet I wanna step out of my comfort zone and try new colours at the same time. Decisions, decisions.

All products come in a pretty little pouch and mine was pink! *bimbotic squeak and flips hair*

These are the colours I chose - 2 neutrals and a pink.

Pinkalicious

Brownie

Seductive

Here are the swatches:
(Top to bottom - Pinkalicious, Brownie, Seductive)

As you can see from the photo above, Seductive has a purple undertone. All 3 colours have tiny sprinkles in it.

Cranky Pants look =.="

Easy & Simple On-The-Go Look, which takes less than 10 minutes.

My thoughts on this product:
Packaging (5/5): The eyeshadows come taped up to prevent any spillage and it is nicely labeled at the top of each jar.  Extra brownie points for pink pouch =)
Product (4/5): Very SOFT and fine. I was surprised at how soft these eyeshadows are compared to the other pigments that I own (which are mainly from the drugstores, such as Barry M). I really like the texture of it.
Pigmentation (3/5) : Although Eye Rockz mineral eyeshadows has relatively good pigmentation, but it is definitely not the most pigmented eyeshadows I have used. It might be due to the natural ingredient used. However, the intensity is definitely build-able. ( I reckon the pigmentation would probably be better with NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils too but I have yet to try that out. Will let you guys know once I do =P)
Lasting Power (5/5): Lasted all day without creasing even though I did not use a primer. (Note: I have dry and sensitive skin, so the outcome by differ depending on your skin type)

A full size jar costs $6.50;
A sample jar costs $2.50;
A sample bag costs $2.00.

Hope these swatches, mini review and How-To photo illustrations are helpful to you. =)

Have you tried any mineral eye shadows before? How do you like it compared to normal pressed eyeshadows?

One last thing before I go,
Vaun has provided me a 10% discount promo code for my readers. =)

Just enter "ADELINEROCKZ10" into the "discount coupon" box before checkout at the shopping cart's page. A minimum purchase of $8 (Singapore customers) and $15 (International customers) is applicable.

DISCLAIMER: Products featured are provided by EyeRockz but I am not affiliated to them nor am I getting paid for this. All opinions expressed are my own.

XOXO,
A
